About the Author
Christopher A. Kearney is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He is also Director of the UNLV Child School Refusal and Anxiety Disorders Clinic. Dr. Kearney's research interests include school refusal behavior, selective mutism, posttraumatic stress disorder in maltreated youth, perfectionism, and other anxiety-related conditions in children and adolescents as well as issues of quality of life in persons with severe handicaps. The author of several books and numerous book chapters and journal articles on these topics, Dr. Kearney also conducts workshops for school districts and mental health and other agencies regarding school refusal behavior and selective mutism. A Fellow of the American Psychological Association (Division 12; Clinical Psychology), he is a recipient of the William Morris Award for Scholarship, the Barrick Scholar Award, the Barrick Distinguished Scholar Award, the Harry Reid Silver State Research Award, the Distinguished Teaching Award, the Outstanding Graduate Faculty Award, and the Academic Advisor Award-Graduate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Kearney received his B.A. in psychology and sociology from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his M.A. and Ph.D. in psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. He completed his internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center before moving to Las Vegas.

About the Author

Born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Mike Johnston has had a long and notable career coaching hockey, including coaching and assistant coaching for the Vancouver Canucks in 1999, Canadas National Mens Team, the Canada Selects, Canadas 1998 Winter Olympics team, Canadas junior team, Team Canada at the World Championships from 1995 to 1998 and again in 2007 as well as the University of New Brunswick mens Varsity Reds hockey team, where he was 1994 coach of the year. Mike was an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Kings from 2006 to 2008 and is currently the head coach and general manager of the WHLs Portland Winter Hawks.

Ryan Walter played 15 seasons and over 1,000 games in the NHL. Drafted second overall by the Washington Capitals in 1978, he went on to win a Stanley Cup with the Montreal Canadiens and a World Championship medal with Team Canada. He finished his playing career with the Vancouver Canucks and was an assistant coach for the Canucks during the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons. Ryan is an acclaimed international speaker and leadership trainer, entrepreneur and television broadcaster, and is committed to ""inspiring the hungry spirit.""

This is the Season

I've been reviewing books for several years now and I am sorry to say this is the first review that I've had to change my rating on. Although I found a lot of interesting information in this book I've since learned that the author Mr. Tramm has been writing multiple reviews of his own books using aliases. This type of behavior violates the rules, undermines the review and voting process and misleads those looking for honest reviews of these books.

This book is the book to read, especially for the times that we are in at the moment. Reading this book, will open your eyes and make everything more clear, about how we can know the time frame when Christ will return, based on prophecy that has already been fulfulled and the few left to be fulfulled. God has a time and season for everything, it is all mapped out in the Bible and this book brings to life Gods magnificent plan from beginning to end. I have learned so much from reading this and in reading this, you will see things and think about things you have not yet given thought to. A must Read!

A fantastic Urban Fantasy

This What a great read! I'm always on the lookout for good urban fantasy or sci-fi with gay protagonists. Some authors just make it all about sex. I'm happy to say this was not the case here. Dakota Shepherd revs it up again!

Dakota's back! This time, she and Raelya take a side trip to terror and retribution, as a driving lesson leads to a surprise, suspenseful encounter, and Dakota's human and pack families collide. It was a quick read, and not a good starting point for new readers, but it's definitely a must if you're a Dakota Shepherd fan, and if you're not, download Awakened now! Dakota gets off her usual geek references and funny moments and has some sweet moments with Raelya, and the bit with Dakota using a Walmart purchase to start a conversation is wonderful. Can't wait for the next book! (Disclaimer: The author is an awesome pal of mine, and wished me a Happy Birthday in the afterword, but I paid for my copy, and this review is hopefully not affected by our friendship.)

Short but sweet

Lovely little novella that, while it probably won't have a huge impact on the overall story, nevertheless told a complete tale and added some more character details and interactions that helped to flesh out the world a bit more. Occasionally, novellas can feel sparse or rushed, but not so here. While it wasn't terribly long, it felt precisely as long as it needed to be. It was a fun read, and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the previous two novels.

Great book for any student pr technologist in the nuclear medicine field. It is precise and to the point with material regarding the procedure protocals for any study. A great aid for students who are required to do case studies. Has all the pertinent information required, along with other references you can use at the end of each chapter.

This book is like our Nuclear Medicine Bible at our nuclear pharmacy. Our old outdated version from 2000 was falling apart and was quite outdated. This new version is great!

Coozan Dudley LeBlanc traces the life of this singular Cajun entrepreneur who, almost singlehandedly, revolutionized American product advertising. He spent millions to promote Hadacol, his alcohol-saturated, vitamin-mineral patent medicine.

With heavy advertising, contests, and the Hadacol caravan-- a traveling road show featuring a dazzling cast of Hollywood stars, beauty queens, and circus antics-- LeBlanc parlayed his elixir into an amazing overnight success. America had never seen anything like it.

But before the 1950s Hadacol phenomenon, LeBlanc had made his mark in the hurly-burly politics of his native Louisiana. As a state legislator, he had championed a steady stream of legislation to increase benefits to the poor and aged. Bold, flashy, and determined, he frequently clashed with the Louisiana Kingfish, Huey Long, in a power struggle that ended only with Long's assassination.

About the Author
Floyd Martin Clay conducted a considerable amount of research to produce his biography of Dudley J. LeBlanc. Mr. Clay initiated the book while LeBlanc was still alive and active, and this enabled him to produce an accurate and incisive biography.
